New Axway Community Management Solution Builds Trusted Communities in the Cloud
Built on Force.com Platform, ACM Breaks Free from Hub-and-Spoke Model, Enables Up to 75 Percent Reduction in Partner On-boarding Time
Axway, the Business Interaction Networks company, introduces Axway Community Management (ACM), the first solution of its kind to utilize the Force.com platform for securely managing global business interactions. Leveraging the success social networks have had attracting members, provisioning technical connections and operating within agreed-upon rules of engagement, Axway now delivers these same benefits to corporate ecosystems. ACM extends traditional on-premise infrastructures with support for a new, cloud-based paradigm, creating a hybrid approach to community management and collaboration.
“Companies are looking not only to manage their trading partners, but fully leverage the power of the broader B2B network they’ve put in the place,” said Dennis Gaughan, managing vice president at Gartner Research. “Community Management offerings need to provide solutions to problems that businesses struggle with – for example, automated certificate management – that have largely been unaddressed by the industry.”
